Felix Ackermann
He received a PhD in Cultural History, defending the thesis on Grodno Ethnicity History in 2008. In 2011 he published Palimpsest Grodno (in German).

He is a visiting DAAD Associate Professor for Applied Humanities in European Humanities University. In 2008 he received a PhD in Cultural History, defending the thesis on Grodno Ethnicity History. In 2011 he published Palimpsest Grodno (in German). He studied in Frankfurt, Słubice and London. In 2001 he founded the Institute of the Applied History, which researches such topics as local memory, public space and the diversity of the divided city. In 2008-2011 he was director of Geschichtswerkstatt Europa grant program of Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft foundation.
