Gintautas Mažeikis
Doctor of Philosophy, professor, head of the Department of Social and Political Theory at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania). He is also the head of the Master Degree Program called Social and Political Critics as well as the Practical Philosophy research cluster.

Gintautas Mažeikis is a Doctor of Philosophy, professor, head of the Department of Social and Political Theory at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania). He is also the head of the Master Degree Program called Social and Political Critics as well as the Practical Philosophy research cluster.  He presented a PhD thesis called Renaissance Symbolic Thinking at the Philosophy department of Vilnius University (1996). The habilitation teaching qualification at Vilnius University (2008) was awarded after publishing of the monograph paper titled Pragmatics and Analytics of Philosophical Anthropology. He is the author of six monographs (in Lithuanian). Currently he is engaged in creating a research group called The Critical Theory and Studies and the project connected with the consequences of rituality and schematism of the Soviet way of thinking.
