Natalija Arlauskaitė is an associate professor at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University. Her area of interest includes the cinema and visuality theory, the historical memory in cinema including World War II and the siege of Leningrad. She is the author of books on Russian literary avant garde, and the feminist film theory. Currently she is editing (in conjunction with Dovilė Jakniūnaitė) collected works called The Search for Identity and Political Practices in Contemporary Russia, 1990-2010.
